For studios that
run on projects.
Architecture and design work arrives as project numbers, review rounds and deadlines that belong to someone else. One list holds all of it.
Client, internal
and personal.
A studio runs three lists at once. One view holds them, each marked with its own color and rule, so none gets lost in the others.
- ClientWork for a project and its client. Edits queue offline, get checked for conflicts, then go to Notion.
- InternalWork on the studio itself: standards, templates, the next hire. Edits go straight to Notion.
- PersonalYour own list. It stays on your device and never touches Notion.
- Review shop drawings
- Update the door schedule template
- Renew the parking permit
Project numbers
are the address.
Type # and a project number, a name or a client, and the task files itself. The assignee, priority and date fill in from the same line.

Permits and RFIs,
as everyday tasks.
A permit set due in March, an RFI waiting on the engineer, a reminder to chase an answer. They are tasks with a project, a deadline and a reminder, so they sit in Today with everything else.
- Submit permit set
- Answer RFI 12 from the contractor
- Chase the structural markup
Reminders can fire at the time or ahead of it, from ten minutes to a day before.
Hours that follow the project
Start the timer on a task and stop it when you finish. The hours are rounded to a quarter hour and logged to the project's timesheet in Notion.
- Built and used every day at PUR4 Studios, a practice licensed in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
- Today PuraTasks is an internal beta at PUR4 Studios. Early access is how we find out which studios it fits.
Ask for early access.
Today it is an internal beta at PUR4 Studios, on Windows. Tell us about your studio and we will write back.
