Calendar has a Week, Month and Agenda view. Google events appear as one-line items on the hour grid, and tasks sit among them as chips.

An event that runs past midnight counts on every day it covers.

Drag a task onto a day or a time to schedule it. Pushing a task onto your Google Calendar is opt-in, so nothing lands there unless you ask.

A Google account signed in under Settings, Google Account. The same sign-in powers the Gmail features and tells the app who you are.
